"I WANT EVERYONE TO REMEMBER WHY THEY NEED US!"

Though, in part, I agree with Alan Moore in his sentiment that the message of "V for Vendetta" was toned down from the graphic novels blatant anarchist vs. fascist themes, it was still a damn decent movie. One that I wish I saw more patterned after.

I bring this up because lately, I am being constantly reminded of the montage they do in the movie when the dictate wages an info war against V. There is a sharp increase in horrific stories trying to scare the people into clamoring for further police protection.

So it is today. Within the past month, swine flu, mass shootings, drug war in mexico, North Korea is launching, recession going into depression, Air Foce One buzzing NYC, global warming, and of all things pirates, have been paraded before us in a ghastly spectacle followed closely by a toneless marching band trumpeting off-key how we can be saved only by government. "Trust us. The world is dangerous. You are dangerous to yourselves. Trust us to protect you. We don't fail, everyone else fails. Trust us" goes their Siren.

Each time the truth is obvious, the answer is there to solve this problem. But why solve that which gives you more power?

The pens have been built and it seems time for the herd to be clustered together in the yard for processing.
