I do not like Obama. I do not like the fascist/socialist synergy of Washington, D.C. in the slightest, but it behooves me to applaud what seems to be the first decent move by this administration.
The United States government is not getting (publicly) involved with Iran's current social issues. To say I am surprised is a bit of an understatement.
Now, I am not so naive as to believe that meddling on the part of the United States government in Iran is nonexistent. I am sure all that money that was approved by Congress last year to destabilize Iran is definitely being put to work.
Somehere in Tehran, a CIA agent with the world's most needlessly expensive spray paint is tagging a building.
I must still applaud any sensible approach to foreign policy. You know, the kind where you don't go about mucking in the political affairs of other nation causing problems like "blowback" and Nazi Germany.
Sure, this administration has taken a hundred steps in the wrong direction, but we must still congratulate them on this one small step in the right. Yes, Obama you can do good for this nation. Now just apply that "none of our business" mantra to the economy and all foreign policy and you'll get that positive "change" that I hear you are so keen on.
While I will engage in the "audacity of hope", I won't hold my breath.
